After running these activities for the past two years, Darcie is stepping back this summer due to other commitments. Many thanks to Darcie for the amazing energy and first class entertainment she brought into the park!
Peggy and Allister have stepped up to take over her role this summer – they saw the great work Darcie did these past two years and are excited to help it continue! Thanks to both of them for time and hard work!
Every Friday - Candy Bingo
6PM: Candy Bingo is every Friday at 6PM! Bring a candy of your choice for each card you want to play – you can play multiple cards!
July 1 - Canada Day Street Parade
2PM: Dress yourself, your bike, or whatever you can in patriotic red and white colours and join in on the Canada Day Street Parade!
July 6 - Ice Cream Social
2PM: Come to the Main Pool to get your Ice Cream Cone for $1! All money raised will be used to fund upcoming events.
July 12 - Piping & Highland Dancing
6PM – Highland dancers from the Grant, Smith, and MacLeod Schools of Dance will be performing near the Hawthorne pool for residents and guests of Whidden Park. Starting at 6:30PM, piper Oakley MacLean will be here at Whidden Park for a bagpipe performance!
July 13 - Pool Party!
2PM: Come to the main pool for a pool party at 2PM!
July 18 - Make Your Move Antigonish - Fun Day!
9:30AM: Make Your Move Antigonish is here to help you start your day off on the right foot with washer toss, a scavenger hunt, and other lawn games to get you moving! Big thanks to Make Your Move Antigonish for helping out with this event. To join the fun, come to the hill near the basketball net!
Come as yourself or add another layer of fun to this event by wearing something culturally significant to your family heritage and “Let’s Move”!
July 20 - Live Music - Our Fathers Fools!
7PM: Come to Site 100 for live music from the talented Dennis Hull and Ray Stone – Our Fathers Fools! The show runs from 7PM to 9PM.
July 27 - Halloween!
6PM: Decorate your campsites and throw on a costume for Trick-or-Treating!
August 2 - Live Music - Fairmont Road!
7PM – Fairmont Road is here for your listening pleasure! Come to site 100 from 7 to 9 for what’s sure to be a great show!
August 3 - Foam Party!
1PM – Foam party at site 100 from 1PM to 3PM!
August 16 - Make Your Move Antigonish - Fun Day!
9:30AM: Make Your Move Antigonish is back again to help get you up and moving with new games and activities! Thanks again to Make Your Move Antigonish for helping out with this event.
August 17 - Pool Party!

7PM: Come to Site 100 for a retro dance party featuring live music from students in the music program at STFX!
